This is my second pair of the SoundSport free. Both times I have found myself annoyed because the left earbud would not even turn on. I've only had this earbuds for about 2 months. The first one barely made it out of the store. (Charged it and tried to use it and it didn't work. Returned for a refun... In the same motion they "pull" the left ear piece from their left ear, putting strain on the wire-earbud connection. this repepitied pulling on the left wire eventually causes the wire to disconnect from the left bud. to stop this left sided wear and tear: stop "pulling" your earbuds out but remove them with your hand gently. I am a bit baffled that they chose to make turning headphones/speakers on and off in the mixer as opposed to just inserting the pin like every other computer/laptop I have ever owned. The left earbud just shuts down about an hour into use. Tried cleaning the contacts but to no avail. There's something wrong with the routing in Windows, let's take a look. First check these things: That Realtek is selected as you default audio output device. That the Windows volume is turned up and not on mute. Then, remove the earbuds. Try a different source or streaming service. Try connecting to a different mobile device. On your mobile device, turn the Bluetooth® feature off and then on again. Delete your Bose® SoundSport® Free wireless headphones from the Bluetooth list on your mobile device. Then connect again.
